Hamilton et Rosberg ont tous deux conduit une Mercedes-AMG W05 en 2014. Pourtant, un élément primordial était complètement différent entre la voiture frappée du numéro 44 (celle d'Hamilton) et celle qui portait le numéro 6 (Rosberg). Il s'agit du volant, fait au goût du pilote.
