Après sa défaite face à Serena Williams en finale de l'US Open de tennis (6-3, 6-3), Caroline Wozniacki a connu une drôle de mésaventure. La Danoise de 24 ans a tout simplement oublié de récupérer son prix, soit un chèque de près de 1,45 million de dollars (1,13 millions d'euros). "J'ai oublié de récupérer mon chèque", a-t-elle déclaré au Wall Street Journal. "J'en ai assez pour manger et m'acheter de belles chaussures. Ce qui m'intéresse, c'est le tennis et les trophées. Je ne suis pas motivée par l'argent".
