La direction du RSC Anderlecht a annoncé que le stade Constant Vanden Stock deviendra totalement non-fumeur à l'occasion de la toute première rencontre à domicile de la Ligue des champions en septembre. L'enceinte sera alors entièrement adaptée à cette nouvelle situation. Le président Roger Vanden Stock avait déjà annoncé qu'il comptait bannir le tabac du stade (c'était déjà le cas depuis 2007, mais pas dans les tribunes, ndlr), jeudi passé au cours de la conférence de presse annuelle de présentation de la saison. Cette mesure avait déjà été prise par le FC Brugeois, mais dans le cadre de son partenariat avec l'association de la "Lutte contre le cancer".
